KAYAC to invest into Huber., provider of TOMODACHI GUIDE matching service for visitors to Japan
KAYAC Inc. (head office: Kamakura-shi, Kanagawa; CEO and Representative Director: Daisuke Yanasawa; TSE Mothers: 3904) is investing into Huber. Inc. (head office: Kamakura-shi, Kanagawa; CEO and Representative Director: Takeshi Kiroku), provider of TOMODACHI GUIDE matching service.
Under the concept that “first step is to make friends,” TOMODACHI GUIDE by Huber. has matched a pair of interpreter and local guide with visitors to Japan and offered tours that help guests to experience authentic Japan not possible with stereotypical tours.
KAYAC has focused on delivering diverse values since its establishment. It founded its business in Kamakura, where diverse values co-exist, including the Kamakura conference of religion, a joint initiative across religions. KAYAC has also been a member of Kamacon since its launch, a group consisting mainly of Kamakura-based IT companies that supports local activities beyond titles and positions. KAYAC’s ideal is that companies work actively in local communities taking advantage of their characteristics instead of concentrating in one city.
Investing into Huber., which is similarly headquartered in Kamakura and is committed to offering unique tours through local guides, is a starting point for KAYAC to develop a plan to promote regional revitalization with rich diversity, which has been KAYAC’s ideal since its establishment.
