Touching scenes return with technology

MADOGATARI exhibition was held to celebrate Shaft’s 40th anniversary.

KAYAC designed and developed the series and Puella Magi Madoka Magica areas at the exhibition. KAYAC developed the following four materials with fine-tuned design to provide fans with touching experience of past memorable scenes.

16-screen interactive display

The technically-sophisticated videos from the animation studio Shaft are screened on a display that is stylishly laid out.

Comparing between “animation” and “original images,” visitors can experience the outstanding technology. Synchronized images are played every 30 seconds on the 16-screen display.

Visitors can watch various images at the same time or one image on the 16-screen large display.

750-inch 3-screen projection movie

It consists of four videos including the famous lines of female characters of the Monogatari series, latest scenes from Kizu Monogatari, and the concept movie and famous scenes as well as the transformation scene of all of the five characters of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

The clips of touching scenes bring back to the sensation for animation fans.

Multi-channel sound

The three-screen projection movie in the center features only characters’ voice and sound effect. Speakers installed at four corners in the exhibition space are adjusted in a way to create 3D sound of the background music for series. The background music changes as visitors walk through the exhibition site and provides them with immersive experience.
