We want our employees to recite our management vision, it's important
because our management principle is the raison d'etre of our company.

What do you live for?
Only a few people can answer this question.
People who can answer this quickly would be considered strong.
A company, that answers this question quickly would also be considered strong.
There is no perfect answer to this question, but if a company can answer this it would be considered good company.

What does KAYAC live for?
That’s the question.
The answer is, our vision.

What do you live for?
“To be happy” may be a common answer

It could be also be true for a company.
What does a company live for?
“To contribute to society through our business”.
As a result our company becomes happy,
or so we believe.
This is our answer. Without a social contribution we would never be happy.

Primarily all corporations exist in order to contribute to society.

Therefore, a management vision, raison d’être of a company should express how the company will contribute to society.

As each person holds an unique value, so should each company.
This unique value should be added to the company’s vision.

For example;
If we where a music company we would “create a world full of love & peace through our music”.
If we where a sports company, we would “help to make society healthy through sports”.
These are examples of a company’s unique visions.

But, do you remember your company’s visions?

The employees must learn their management’s visions,
since it is the *raison d’être of their company.

Raison d’être can be a goal.

“Ends and the means”.

This may be an old way to say “ends and the means” but don’t be confused.
In the business world sometimes you get mixed up between the ends and the means.
Take for example; “profit”
Profit is just a means to a goal or the result from achieving a goal.
We need profits in order to contribute to society. We make profit because we contribute to society.

Profit will never become the goal.

If you lose sight of the management’s visions, you will lose your purpose.
Therefore we must keep the management’s vision’s top of mind.

Eccentric words are not suitable in order to describe the management visions.
As people change, the company changes.
Therefore, raison d’être should be essential and universal.

That’s why visions tend to be predictable when trying to express visions with ordinary words.
An ordinary word is not memorable.
The predictable vision in not a bad thing, but to forget their raison d’être, is a terrible thing.

In order to keep the vision in mind, one way is to recite it every morning.
But KAYAC does not use this method.
We created a memorable and powerful word for our management’s vision.

We wanted to make one word to help us and not to confuse the ends with the means.
The word, which guides us the right way when we wander.
Compass for KAYAC.
We wanted to have a magical word.

“To increase the number of creators”.

To increase creators and makers.
We can recite it.
KAYAC is a company whose end is “to increase the number of creators in this world”.
That’s how we think.
This is how we contribute to our society, and it makes us happy.

To create is to look into something.

To create leads us to understand ourselves.
People understand our own values such as “what we think is beautiful or ugly”, “what we like or dislike” through our creations.
We have our own criteria for everything.
Not ready-made, but based on the criteria we understand, how we can be happy in our own way.
Therefore, creation adds to society so that all of us can be happy.

To create is to give something.

The action of creation is the same as entertaining someone.
They is the audience and you get a reaction from them.
Creators understand “to make someone happy brings them happiness”.
This experience multiplied will someday create joy for all society.
Therefore, as more people create, society will become better.

To create is to connect with someone.

KAYAC does not stifle creativity in individuals, but we open it up to the world.
We make a market.
A market, which yields new communication and new values.
A market, which expands the “joy of creation” for everyone.
Such a market would encourage many people to begin creation.

To make the non-creators, creators.

Supporting “creation” by KAYAC.
It does not only mean support for creators.
People who recognize themselves as creators keep on creating even without any support.
We awaking people who forgot how to create.
Make non-creator people into creators.
That’s our mission.

And, of course, KAYAC keeps on enjoying creating.
