Unleashing creativity
We want to contribute to a better society by supporting people to be creative.
That means more than just making things, it means being self-aware, open, generous and connected to others.
We do want to make a profit, but we also love to have fun, bring joy to others through our work and want nothing more than to infect everyone with our enthusiasm for being creative.
A fun-loving company
In Japanese, we describe ourselves as an "omoshiro” company.
It is hard to translate but it kind of means playful, fun and interesting. What we really want is to create things that are fun for people to use.
And that is why we hire free-spirited and light-hearted people who won’t lose their playful creativity at work.
Kamakura
Our offices are based out of Kamakura, a small seaside city surrounded by mountains, beaches, shrines and temples, and 1-hour train ride from Tokyo.
We like to make our offices a true home for creative professionals, with a casual design to encourage staff to bounce around ideas. Our main Kamakura offices have desk spaces in the style of an engawa, a verandah that traditionally skirts around a Japanese house.
In the center is a platform for staff to meet, brainstorm, and check what the bosses are doing in their glass offices!
